• After a close first half, Eastern Connecticut outscored RIC, 44-35, in the second half to defeat the Anchormen, who were playing their first game since Dec. 18.

Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) had 18 points and a team-leading four assists.

Meikyle Murray (Bronx, N.Y.), who registered season-highs in every statistical category besides steals, highlighted by his 31 points, 11 boards and six dimes.

• RIC shot 44 percent (24-for-55) from the field, 30 percent (3-for-10) from downtown and 72 percent (18-for-25) from the free throw line.
