Providence, R.I.--Freshman goalkeeper Reagan Kerecz (Tolland, Conn.) registered four saves as the Rhode Island College women's soccer team fell vs. Salve Regina, 3-0, in non-conference action played at Johnson & Wales' Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both clubs battled in the first half without either side gaining an edge over the other as the game was scoreless after 45 minutes.
 
• SRU broke the tie in the first minute of the second half as junior forward Meagan McLaughlin (East Hampton, Conn.) found the back of the net after a pass from senior midfielder  Meaghan Papiro (Glen Head, N.Y.).
 
• McLaughlin found pay dirt again just seven minutes later for her second goal of the day, and the season, to give the Seahawks a two-goal advantage.
 
• The visitors put the game on ice as senior forward Molly Breslin (Rockaway Park, N.Y.) buried her offering in the 69^th minute. McLaughlin set the strike up.
 
• RIC freshman midfielder Jayde Fernandes (Pawtucket, R.I.) and junior forward Alexandra Amore (Saunderstown, R.I.) led the club with two shots on goal apiece.
 
BY THE NUMBERS
• Kerecz registered four saves on seven shots in the loss (0-3).
 
• Salve Regina junior goalkeeper Georgia Drake (Mashpee, Mass.) recorded four saves in the victory (2-1).
 
• SRU held a slight advantage in shots (12-10) and in corners (3-2).
