Dartmouth, Mass.—Senior third baseman
Ray Zincone (West Warwick, R.I.) went 2-for-3 with a double, one run scored, one RBI and a walk as the Rhode Island College baseball team defeated UMass Dartmouth, 7-4, on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen got on the board first in the top of the opening frame as Zincone doubled to right center field to score junior right fielder
Nick D'Ambra (Coventry, R.I.) from second.
• RIC added to its lead in the second on a senior second basemen
Nate Vigeant (Coventry, R.I.) sacrifice fly, which drove in freshman left fielder
Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) to make the score 2-0.
• UMD knotted the score at two apiece with an RBI double from senior catcher
Mitch Baker (Braintree, Mass.) in the home half of the third.
• UMD took the lead in the third with a senior second basemen
JR DiSarcina (Barnstable, Mass.) single through the left side to give the Corsairs a 3-2 lead.
• The Anchormen plated four runs in the top of the seventh, which was highlighted by five walks, to give them a 7-3 advantage.
• Senior pitcher
Tyler Schemick (Foster, R.I.) came on in relief to earn the save (1), striking out four in 2.0 innings of work.
