HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC jumped on the board early, crossing two runs in the top of the second inning as Vigeant hit a ball back to the pitcher that scored freshman center fielder
Cam Santerre (Bristol, R.I.) from third.

• The Anchormen increased their lead to four, 5-1, in the top of the fifth with a Vigeant single up the middle that scored both Santerre and junior right fielder

• AMC tied the score in the home half of the fifth, 5-5, thanks to a three-run home run by senior first basemen
Noah Holland (Sandwich, Mass.) and a solo shot by junior shortstop

• AMC pushed across one run in the sixth and a pair of runs in the seventh to give the hosts a 9-5 lead over the Anchormen.
