Providence, R.I.—Freshman guard
Jordan Riley (Windsor, Conn.) posted a career-high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, one block and a game-high five steals as Rhode Island College fell, 85-72, at UMass Dartmouth in Little East men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game was close for the first 7:30 of the first half before the hosts went on an 18-5 run to build a 34-20 advantage with 5:33 left to go. Junior guard
Marcus Azor (Brockton, Mass.) chipped in with six points during the run.
• The Anchormen responded with an 11-3 run to close out the half, as Riley contributed six points to send the visitors into halftime down by six, 37-31.

Dante Law (Taunton, Mass.) helped RIC storm out of the gate in the second half with a three-pointer and a dunk, while sophomore guard
Shion Darby (Peekskill, N.Y.) converted a layup, to put RIC on top by one, 38-37.
• A layup by Azor with 15:37 left in the game gave the Corsairs a one-point, 45-44, lead.
• A Darby trey, followed by a pair of Riley free throws, put RIC ahead, 55-52, at the 11:08 mark.
• UMD tied the game, 55-55, on a junior guard
Dhalyn Sanders-Dyer (Worcester, Mass.) layup, before ripping off an 18-3 run to put the game away.
• An Azor jumper at 2:05 put the hosts on top by a game-high 18, 85-67, as the Corsairs stayed unbeaten on the season.

Adam Seablom (Lakeville, Mass.) posted 15 points and eight rebounds. Sanders-Dyer also reached double figures with 11 points.

Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Law finished with 10 points, two assists, two blocks and two swipes.

• RIC shot 39 percent (28-for-72) from the field, 16 percent (3-for-19) from three-point range and 62 percent (13-for-21) from the free throw line.
• UMD shot 46 percent (32-for-69) from the floor, 44 percent (12-for-27) from long range and 82 percent (9-for-11) from the charity stripe.
• The Corsairs led in rebounding, 46-42, while RIC dominated in steals, 12-5.
