Keene, N.H.—Senior goalkeeper
Charlie Tashjian (West Warwick, R.I.) tied the program record with his 18
th career shutout as Rhode Island College battled Keene State to a scoreless, 0-0, double-overtime draw in Little East men's soccer action played at Dr. Ron Butcher Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Tashjian made three saves to tie
Frank Kowalik's '91 career shutout total. He is currently 9-6-1 on the season.
• In what was a complete defensive effort by both sides over the first 45 minutes. The half ended with RIC leading in shots, 4-2. The Anchormen also had a massive advantage in corner kicks, 5-0, but were unable to capitalize with a goal.
• In the second half, Keene State substituted senior goalkeeper
Anthony Pasciuto (Abington, Mass.) for graduate goalkeeper
Nate Howard (Manchester, Conn.). Howard was busy in the second stanza, stopping four RIC shots to keep the game a scoreless deadlock.
• Regulation ended with RIC leading in shots (10-4), shots on goal (5-1) and corner kicks (8-5).
• In overtime, Keene applied the most pressure. The Owls made Tashjian make two key saves. The hosts also prevented Rhode Island College from any offensive attacks, as the Anchormen were held to just one shot over the course of both overtimes.
