Josh Brien (Johnston, R.I.) clinched a 5-4 win for the men's tennis team over Albertus Magnus with a straight set victory at No. 5 singles in the club's 2021-22 season opener played at the RIC Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

• The Anchormen took two of the three doubles matches to hold a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. Brien and freshman

Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) won in straight sets (6-0, 6-2) at fourth singles for his first collegiate win and junior
Dylan Tashdjian (Riverside, R.I.) secured a (6-2, 6-1) win at No. 6 singles to put the hosts in position to clinch the match.
• After a Falcon win, Brien won (6-1, 6-4) at No. 5 singles to register the win.
