Gorham, Maine—Sophomore middle hitter
Angelly Polanco (Providence, R.I.) collected six kills as Rhode Island College fell, 3-1, vs. the University of New England in the second leg of a tri-match held at the University of Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Nor'Easters played perfectly in the opener, winning a decisive first set by 17, 25-8. The Anchorwomen answered back with a hard-fought, 28-26, victory in the second set. UNE stormed back and took the final two stanzas, 25-16 and 25-13, to clinch the match.

Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) notched another double-double with 11 kills and 18 digs.

Lauren Davenport (Shelburne, Mass.) and freshman outside hitter
Viktoria Pavlyuk (Westfield, Mass.) proved deadly, as they combined for 31 kills.

Sydney Green (West Warwick, R.I.) led the way for the Anchorwomen with 13 assists and also registered seven digs.

Addie Miller (Wilmington, Del.) handed out a match-high 42 assists.
