HOW IT HAPPENED

• McBorrough was saddled with four first-half fouls, which limited the Anchorwomen's effectiveness in the pain.
• RIC opened up a 10-point, 18-8, lead with 6:26 left in the first half on a jumper by sophomore guard
Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.). The Owls closed with five points on two occasions in the second quarter, but the hosts took a seven-point, 24-17, advantage into the locker room at halftime.

• The Owls went on a 7-2 run to open the fourth frame and closed to within a single point, 43-42, on a freshman guard
Jackie Alibrandi (Holliston, Mass.) trey with 5:34 left.
• Layups by Dorantes and a senior guard
Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, Mass.) gave RIC some breathing room, but back-to-back layups from Hebert and freshman forward
Rylee Burgess (Rutland, Vt.) pulled the visitors within three, 50-47, with 39 seconds left.
• KSC missed a pair of treys down the stretch and a Young free throw gave the Anchorwomen a cushion with five seconds left to preserve the win.
