Rhode Island College

Jo-Ann D'Alessandro begins her 24th year as the associate athletic director at RIC. D'Alessandro is RIC's senior women's administrator and oversees compliance, travel and the college's Recreation Center.

Prior to joining the RIC athletic staff, D'Alessandro served as the Recreation Director for the Town of North Providence from 1995-02. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Recreation Director from 1987-95.

D'Alessandro was a 1999 inductee into the Rhode Island College Athletic Hall of Fame. She was a guard on RIC's women's basketball team from 1983-87. D'Alessandro is RIC's third all-time leading scorer with 1,426 points and her number, 5, is retired in the Murray Center rafters. She was named to RIC's All-100th and 75th Anniversary Women's Basketball Teams.

She is a 1988 graduate of Rhode Island College, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned her master's degree in public administration from the University of Rhode Island in 2006.

D'Alessandro resides in North Providence, Rhode Island.
