Springfield, Mass.—Sophomore outside hitter Jenaeya Evans (Marietta, GA) was named to the All-Tournament Team as the Rhode Island College women's volleyball team wrapped up action at the 2018 Springfield Invitational with a 3-0 setback vs. the host Pride.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ward notched a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs in the setback.
• Jutras added five kills, 19 assists, five digs and three aces for the Anchorwomen. Ward finished the tournament with seven service aces and nine digs.
• Springfield was paced by sophomore middle blocker Camryn Bancroft (Eastport, NY) with 12 kills and five blocks. Freshman setter Sara Labadorf (Huntersville, NC) tallied 24 set assists, five digs and three blocks in the victory for the Pride.

• RIC registered a .000 (23 kills, 23 errors, 109 attempts) hitting percentage, while Springfield hit .329 (33 kills, 7 errors, 79 attempts) in the victory.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Worcester State at the Murray Center in its home opener on Tuesday, Sept. 4 (7 p.m.).
