Biography

Career: Closed out his career with a 103-13 overall record to go along with 32 pins, 230 takedowns, five reversals, 58 escapes and 60 near-falls. He won two NCAA Div. III Individual National Championship, two NCAA Northeast Regionals titles, two NEWA Wrestler of the Year awards, earned All-Region honors three times and was a two-time NCAA Div. III All-American and a three-time National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American.

Senior Year (2022-23): Was the NCAA Div. III National Champion and earned All-American honors at 165 lbs. at the NCAA Div. III National Championship...the No. 1-seeded Lackman went 4-0 at the National Championship...faced his brother, junior Matt Lackman from Alvernia, in the national title match and scored a takedown 50 seconds into overtime to win, 3-1, and win his second consecutive national title...was the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Champion at 165 lbs. and was named the tourney's Most Outstanding Wrestler after going 4-0 at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship...named the 2023 New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Wrestler of the Year, First Team All-NEWA at 165 lbs. and to the league's All-Academic team...named a National Wrestling Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American...placed first (165 lbs.) at the Doug Parker Invitational and sixth at the prestigious Midlands Championship, which was against mainly Div. I competition...went 39-3 with eight pins, 89 takedowns, two reversals, 21 escapes and 29 near-falls...was not taken down by a Div. III opponent for the second consecutive season.

Junior Year (2021-22): Was the NCAA Div. III National Champion at 157 lbs. and earned All-American honors at the NCAA National Championship...joined Mike Bonora ’07 (2008) and Billy Cotter ’96 (1994) as the only other Anchormen in program history to win a national title...the No. 3-seeded Lackman went a perfect 4-0 at the National Championship...scored a takedown 37 seconds into sudden victory to defeat No. 1-seeded Kaidon Watters from RIT, 5-3, in the finals to claim the title...named a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)...earned All-Region honors by going 5-0 at 157 lbs. at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship...named the NEWA Wrestler of the Year and First Team All-NEWA at 157 lbs...went 35-0 at 157 lbs. with 11 pins, 74 takedowns, two reversals, 15 escapes and 29 near-falls...was not taken down the entire season...named to the NEWA Dual Championship All-Tournament Team. He was the individual champion at 157 lbs. at the Doug Parker Invitational on Nov. 20.

Sophomore Year (2020-21): Was 2-1 on the season at 157 lbs. with one pin, five takedowns, two escapes and two near-falls...named a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American.

Freshman Year (2019-20): Earned All-Region honors at 141 lbs. with a fifth place finish at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship...was an Honorable Mention to the All-NEWA Team at 141 lbs. and was also named to the NEWA All-Rookie Team...was 27-9 at 141 lbs. with 62 takedowns, one reversal, 20 escapes and 12 pins...was named the NEWA Rookie of the Week once on the season.

High School: Lettered in wrestling while at Bethlehem Catholic High School...2019 graduate.
