Anchormen Earn Split at PSU Tri in, 29-9, Setback vs. Huskies

Plymouth, N.H.--Rhode Island College fell, 29-9, to Southern Maine in its second contest of a New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) tri-match hosted by Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Huskies built a 20-0 lead after the first four matches before senior 157 lbs. Sam Lindblom (Waterford, CT) and classmate 165 lbs. Zach Ford (Flagler Beach, FL) each picked up three-point decisions.

• The Huskies won three of the final four bouts to secure their first win of the season. RIC junior Dan Sblendorio (Mountainside, NJ) won his match at 197 lbs. to round out the RIC scoring.
