Freshman Year (2023-24): Finished 15th in the 200-yard backstroke (3:11.90) at the Little East Championship on Feb. 16-18...placed first in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:25.13) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:32.53), second in the 200-yard backstroke (3:19.93) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (35.88) vs. UMass Dartmouth on Feb 3...finished fifth in both the 200-yard medley relay (3:01.32) and 200-yard freestyle relay (2:08.22) and eighth in both the 50-yard backstroke (42.23) and 100-yard backstroke (1:31.55) at Plymouth State on Jan 27...placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:09.56), fifth in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:56.13) and the 50-yard backstroke (42.57) and sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:33.50) vs. the University of New England on Jan 20...finished fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:57.94) and sixth in the 400-yard medley relay (6:25.18), 50-yard backstroke (43.20) and 100-yard backstroke (1:32.56) at Eastern Connecticut on Jan 15...placed third in the 200-yard medley relay (2:48.25), fifth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:31.86) and sixth in both the 50-yard freestyle (34.78) and the 200-yard freestyle (2:53.05) vs. Gordon on Jan 12. Sutherland finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:37.31), 12th in the 50-yard backstroke (45.01) and 19th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:21.27) at the Bridgewater State Invitational on Dec 2...placed third in both the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:31.22) and the 200-yard medley relay (3:03.69) and sixth in both the 200-yard freestyle (3:03.76) and the 200-yard backstroke (3:30.01) at Clark on Nov 18...finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:20.97),  27th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:39.35), 33rd in the 50-yard freestyle (36.01) and 36th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:20.03) at the Roger Williams Invitational on Oct 28...named the Little East Women’s Swimming Rookie of the Week once on the season.
