Rhode Island College

Ella Poley begins her second season as an assistant women's gymnastics coach at Rhode Island College.

Poley, a native of Newton, Mass., competed in women’s gymnastics while at Brown University from 2019-23. She competed on vault, bars and floor with career-highs of 9.775, 9.875 and 9.825, respectively.

She was named a United State of America Gymnastics (USAG) First Team All-American on bars in 2023 and qualified for individual event finals at the USAG National Championship. Poley was a USAG Second Team All-American on bars in 2022. She received the women’s gymnastics team’s Unsung Hero Award in 2023 and the squad’s Most Improved Award in 2020.

She earned two bachelor’s degree from Brown in both public health and psychology in December, 2023.
