2018-19 Rhode Island College Women's Golf Season Summary

Providence, R.I.—First-year Head Coach Debbie Johnson's (Career record: 3-2; .600) team wrapped up the fall portion of their schedule with a two-day score of 794 (403, 391) for a second place (three teams) finish at 2018 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Div. III Championship on Oct. 21-22. 

Prior to the NEIGA Championship, the Anchorwomen notched an eighth place (11 teams) finish at 2018 Empire Eight Championship on Oct. 7. RIC recorded a two-day score of 825 (408, 417).

Senior Megan Rocheleau (Warwick, RI) averaged a score of 106.33 in six competitions on the year. She registered a season-best score of 101 in the second round of the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sept. 23.

As a junior  in 2017-18, she averaged a score of 99.5 in six competitions on the year. She shot a season-best 89 in the win over Johnson & Wales on April 7 and again in the opening round of the Westfield Quad on April 21.

She is a psychology major and a 2014 graduate of Toll Gate High School. Rocheleau is a transfer from the Community College of Rhode Island.

Junior Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) averaged a score of 109.80 in seven competitions on the season. Arnold shot a season-best score of 97 in the win over Worcester State on Oct. 14.

Junior Kelsey Hinchcliffe (Pascoag, RI) averaged a score of 102.00 in five competitions on the season. Hinchliffe shot a season-best score of 94 in the second round of the NEIGA Championship on Oct. 22. 

Sophomore Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) earned All-New England honors with a second place finish (177: 91, 86) at the NEIGA Championship on Oct. 21-22. She averaged a team-best score of 89.20 in seven competitions on the season. Mahan shot a season-best score of 80 in the loss vs. Johnson & Wales on April 7.

Freshman Natalie Jepson (Shoreham, NY) averaged a score of 119.90 in seven competitions on the season. Jepson shot a season-best score of 109 in the win over Worcester State on Oct. 14.
