Emily Bartlett 2024 Head Shot

Emily Bartlett

Emily Bartlett begins her first season as an assistant softball coach at Rhode Island College.

“I’m very excited to join the athletic department at RIC and work beside Head Coach Lauren Hatfield,” Bartlett said. “I look forward to building upon the success of the softball program.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Emily as the new pitching coach for our softball program,” Hatfield said. “An award-winning pitcher and standout hitter from Worcester State, Emily brings extensive experience, knowledge, and a true passion for the game. While she will primarily focus on our pitching staff, her skills and expertise extend to working with the infield and outfield as well. We are excited to see the positive impact she will have on the program.”

Bartlett is currently a pitching and hitting instructor at Evolution Softball in Shrewsbury. She also spent one season at an assistant softball coach at Grafton High School.

She wrapped up an outstanding career in softball at Worcester State in 2024, where she was named the Lancers’ Senior Athlete of the Year. Bartlett was the MASCAC Pitcher of the Year, while also earning multiple All-Conference honors and a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Team over the course of her career.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational studies from Worcester State in 2024 and is currently working on her master’s degree in occupational studies at WSU as well.
