Autumn Wosencroft begins her fourth season as the assistant women’s track & field coach. Wosencroft works primarily with the team’s sprinters and jumpers. She also serves as an assistant cross country coach and assists with the college's intramural program.
Wosencroft returned to her alma mater after four standout seasons as a member of RIC’s indoor and outdoor track & field teams from 2012-16.
A three-time team MVP selection during her indoor and outdoor track and field career, she earned 16 All-New England, three All-ECAC and 28 N.E. Alliance honors in various events.
The Newport, Rhode Island native competed at five NCAA Division III Track & Field National Championships during her career.
At the time of her graduation, Wosencroft was the RIC record holder in six events, both individually and as member of a relay team.
She received the Helen M. Murphy Award, signifying her as RIC’s top senior female student-athlete in 2016.
Wosencroft earned a bachelor’s degree in justice studies with a minor in sociology from Rhode Island College in 2016. The Speaker of the House and the Rhode Island House of Representatives twice named her a Scholar-Athlete in 2015 and 2016.
