
Warwick, R.I.—Senior Evan Moore (Portsmouth, RI) was a medalist with a score of 74 as the Rhode Island College men's golf team finished second overall at the RIC Homecoming Invitational played at Valley Country Club on Friday afternoon.
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College finished second (four teams) with a score of 329. Suffolk edged the Anchormen by a stroke (328), while Wentworth (337) and Western Connecticut (352) rounded the field.
• There were a total of 22 golfers competing at the event
• Valley Country Club is a par-72 course that measured 6,673 yards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) finished third with a score of 78.
• Freshman William Niles (Warwick, RI) finished tied for 14th with a score of 87.
• Freshman Anthony Loiselle (Providence, RI) finished tied for 18th with a score of 90.
• Senior Matthew Butler (Johnston, RI) finished tied for 18th with a score of 90.
• Junior Matt Malo (Cranston, RI) finished 20th with a score of 94.
