Isabella Ba (Cranston, R.I.) each earned their first collegiate wins as Rhode Island College notched a 7-0 shutout vs. Suffolk in the Anchorwomen's 2026 home opener at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC rolled past the Rams in doubles action, paced by junior
Haylie Peacock's (West Gardiner, Maine) and
Faith Owren's (Richmond, R.I.), 6-0, victory at the top spot.
• Ba and Par paired for a 6-2 victory at third doubles for their respective first collegiate wins.
• Sophomore
Addison Hadlock (Littleton, N.H.) and junior
Arianna DeThomas (Providence, R.I.) made short work of their opposition, winning in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) at No. 5 and 2 singles, respectively.
• Junior
Emilia Houwers (Whitewater, Wis.) clinched the win at third singles and Par followed with her first collegiate singles win at the sixth spot.
