Dartmouth, Mass.--Freshman Kristen Fountaine (Cranston, R.I.) finished 100th (24:18.20) to lead Rhode Island College at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• There were 33 colleges and universities that competed in the meet, which was made up of schools from Divisions I-III.
 
• The Anchormen finished 32nd (33 teams) with a team score of 898. Boston University won the meet with a team score of 63.0.
 
• There were 241 runners who competed at the Invitational, which was a 6k.

• Junior Grace Lane (North Smithfield, R.I.) finished 193rd (27:10.52).
 
• Junior Bendu Kamara (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 223rd (30:20.91).
 
• Junior Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) finished 226th (30:48.67).
 
• Sophomore Stephanie Sican Velez (Providence, R.I.) finished 234th (32:08.98).
 
• Senior Shirley Portillo (North Providence, R.I.) finished 236th (32:33.83).
 
• Senior Lexie Zakrzewski (Taunton, Mass.) finished 240th (34:02.85).
