West Hartford, Conn.—Junior Mya Linchitz (Warwick, R.I.) finished 14^th as Rhode Island College closed out the 2025-26 season with a fifth place finish at Hartford's Wampanoag Invitational, played at Wampanoag Country Club on Monday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchorwomen finished fifth (five teams) with a team score of 481 (+71). Host Hartford won the title with a team score of 359 (+71).
 
• The event was a par-72 and 31 golfers competed at the event.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Linchitz placed 14^th with a score of 99 (+27).
 
• Freshman Rylee Adams (Foster, R.I.) tied for 26^th with a score of 127 (+55).
 
• Freshman Jasmine Yang (Providence, R.I.) tied for 26^th with a score of 127 (+55).
 
• Sophomore Nichole Ljuljic (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) finished 28^th with a score of 128 (+56).
