Kyle Neuendorf (Attleboro, Mass.) won in straight sets at No. 6 singles as Rhode Island College earned its first win of the season by downing Hartford, 7-0, at the Magic Lincer Indoor Tennis Academy on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC took two of the three matches in doubles action to secure the contest's first point. Sophomores
Travis Chartier (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Neuendorf
were dominant at first doubles with a 6-3 win.
• Freshman
John Vaughan (East Providence, R.I.) earned his first collegiate win to open singles action, Chartier followed with a straight set win at the top singles flight and Neuendorf clinched the win.
