HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman forward
Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) scored eight points in the opening frame to give the visitors a boost and a three-point, 16-13, lead heading into the second quarter.

• Both teams exchanged buckets in a back and forth second stanza, but it was the Anchorwomen who retained the advantage at the half, 25-24.

• RIC trailed, 30-29, with just under six minutes left in the third quarter until they embarked on a 17-3 run to close out the frame.

• Despite the Beacons pressuring the Anchorwomen into making mistakes in the last stanza, the visitors were able to secure the road win for their seventh straight win and complete the season series sweep vs. UMB.
