HOW IT HAPPENED
• Rhode Island College recognized its wrestling alumni prior to the match as part of Alumni Day.
• Sousa led RIC off with a 28-13 win at 125 lbs., but the 5-0 host lead was turned on its head as the Hawks would take the next three matches.
Â
• Sophomore
Constantine Isaac (Salem, N.H) then helped the Anchormen with a pin two minutes into the first period at 157 lbs. to bring the RIC to within six, 17-11.
Â
• However, those two wins would prove to be the only highlights in the match for the hosts as the Hawks claimed the contest's final five bouts.
