Castleton, Vt.—Fifth-year Aidan Faria (Cumberland, R.I.) went 2-0 with a pair technical fall wins as Rhode Island College split a tri-match, hosted by VTSU Castleton on Saturday afternoon.

• RIC built a 10-0 lead vs. Southern Maine with two technical fall wins by freshman 125 lbs. Domenick Sousa (Smithfield, R.I.) and senior 133 lbs. Robert Stone (Deer Park, N.Y.).
 
• The Huskies won the next three matches to lead by two, 12-10, before senior 165 lbs.  Scott Lallas (Farmington, N.H.) won a decision to put the Anchormen in front for good.
 
• RIC won the next three bouts to secure the win, led by a Faria technical fall and a pin by freshman 197 lbs. Imanol Taveras (Providence, R.I.) pin.
 
• The Anchormen had their hands full with the 10^th-ranked Spartans in their next match as a Faria technical fall proved to be the only win for RIC in the setback.
