HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen opened the game on an 11-2 run before the Beacons found a groove as the first quarter was separated by three points in the host's favor at the end of the first frame, 20-17.

• Schuermann tallied six points in the second stanza to help the Anchorwomen hold the lead at halftime, 38-32.

• UMB won the third quarter, as they outscored the Anchorwomen by four points, but RIC still led, 52-50, with 10 minutes to play.

• The Beacons leveled the game at 58 with 5:10 left in the final quarter until the Anchorwomen made shots on five straight possessions with 3:30 left to go.

Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) recorded eight of her 15 points in the fourth frame to go along with 11 rebounds for the game.
• Sophomore classmates
Jaina Yekelchik (North Scituate, R.I.) and
Shalyn Smith (Middletown, Conn.) both posted double figures with 11 and 10, respectively.
