Haylie Peacock (West Gardiner, Maine) secured a shutout at first doubles as RIC took all three in pairs action.
• Owren secured the team's decisive fourth point with a quick win at No. 5 singles.
• The match was completed in just under an hour and a half as the hosts lost just eight games on the day.
