Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College senior Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) was named the Little East Men's Golf Player of the Week for his performance in the Anchormen's first place finish at the RIC Fall Invitational on Sept. 16.

Bruins Slot earned the medalist honor with his second consecutive tournament win by firing a one-under-par 71 to finish first among a field of 25 golfers.

The Anchormen took first place with a season-low score of 298.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host its second Fall Invitational at Valley Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 25 (10 a.m.).
