HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Panthers found their footing early on as they went on a 7-2 run to open the game, but it was the visitors who ended the first 10 minutes strong and in the lead by eight, 17-9, heading into the second quarter.

• McKitchen posted 11 points in the second frame to push the Anchorwomen even further ahead, 34-20, at the halftime break.

• The hosts' deficit grew to 15, 51-36, going into the last quarter of action.

Jaina Yekelchik (North Scituate, R.I.) came away with a pair of steals and six points in the final stanza to diminish the hopes of a Panther comeback.

Naima Bleou (Worcester, Mass.) dropped a season-high 12 points on four treys, while Yekelchik posted 10 points, eight rebounds and six steals.

Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) was the fourth Anchorwoman to score in double figures, finishing the game with a double-double effort of 11 points and 10 boards to go along with a team-high five assists.
