Providence, R.I.—Junior guard Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) led the way with 21 points, five boards, seven blocks, one assist and a steal as Rhode Island College saw its modest four-game win streak come to an end in a 62-50 setback at The Murray Center on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game was closely-contested through the first three quarters as the Jumbos were on top by one, 40-39, to begin the final stanza.
 
• There was little scoring by either club through the first five minutes of the fourth period.
 
• Tufts increased a five-point lead to nine, 54-45, with 1:54 left as the Anchorwomen were unable to mount a comeback.
 
• Sophomore guard Jaina Yekelchik (North Scituate, R.I.) pitched in with nine points, four boards and two assists, while freshman forward Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) finished with six points, nine boards and two blocks.
