Providence, R.I.--Approximately 10,000 people traveled to the Rhode Island College campus this past week as the college hosted the Rhode Island State Championships in girls' volleyball and boys' soccer.
Soccer fans expressed their pleasure with the soccer venue, which included upgraded end zone seating for almost 1,000 spectators and a new Daktronics video board.
New bathrooms will enhance the facility even further as they just missed being read for this year's championships.
The Murray Center, always a great venue for basketball and volleyball, hosted three dates of volleyball.
With new video boards slated for the Murray Center, Pontarelli Field and the new outdoor track complex, the fan experience will be even better for future interscholastic championships.
