Erica Botelho (Greenville, R.I.) won in straight sets at third singles to lead Rhode Island College past Plymouth State, 7-0, in Little East women's tennis action at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen took the doubles point by winning all three matches, losing just three games in the process. Botelho and sophomore
Haylie Peacock (West Gardiner, Maine) notched a 6-0 shutout at first doubles.
• Sophomore
Arianna De Thomas (Providence, R.I.) and senior
Li hsiu Hou (Kingston, R.I.) made short work of their opposition at No. 1 and 6 singles, respectively, and Botelho followed with a near shutout to clinch the match.
• The Anchorwomen have seven, 7-0, shutouts to their credit this fall, including the last four matches.
