Emilia Houwers (Whitewater, Wis.) were dominant in singles play as Rhode Island College rolled to its 11
th consecutive win with a 7-0 shutout at Salem State in Little East women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC took two of three in doubles action, as sophomore
Arianna De Thomas (Providence, R.I.) and Houwers hurled a 6-0 shutout at No. 2 doubles, to go up, 1-0, heading into singles play.
• The visitors won all six singles matches, highlighted by a (6-0, 6-0) sweep from Houwers at No. 4 singles and a straight set (6-1, 6-0) victory by Peacock at No. 2 singles.
• De Thomas was also dominant with a (6-2, 6-0) win at first singles.
• The Anchorwomen have posted eight shutouts on the season.
