Robert Stone (Deer Park, N.Y.) took third place at 125 lbs. at the Johnson and Wales Wildcat Open on Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS
• It was an individual meet for wrestlers not taking part in tomorrow's NEWA Dual Championship.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Stone went 4-1 with four pins to place third. He was the only Anchorman wrestler to finish in the top four at the event.
• Freshman
Christian Sewell (Windsor, Conn.) went 3-2 with a pair of decisions and a pin at 197 lbs.
• Sophomore
Owen Roche (Shrewsbury, Mass.) went 3-1 with three pins at 149 lbs.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2025 New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Dual Championship, hosted by Johnson and Wales on Sunday, Jan. 26.
