• RIC edged the hosts by two in the opening set, 25-23, before taking a 2-0 advantage with a 25-18 decision in the second set. With the third stanza deadlocked, 24-24, a Lancer setting error and a kill by freshman outside hitter
Olivia Rollinson (Coventry, R.I.) helped RIC to a 26-24 decision and the win.

• Alvelo's 23 assists and 11 digs marked her fourth double-double to lead the team. She also contributed with six kills on the night.

Rhiannon Hodovanec (Feeding Hills, Agawam) notched eight kills and eight digs.
