Haylie Peacock (West Gardiner, Maine) each raised their individual records to 8-0 as Rhode Island College downed Suffolk, 7-0, at the RIC Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen took the doubles point by winning all three matches. Senior
Amara Devine (Greenville, R.I.) and fifth-year
Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) secured a 6-0 shutout win at third doubles.
• Devine won at No. 6 singles, which was followed by a Peacock shutout at No. 4 singles. A De Thomas decision at third singles won the match for the hosts.
• RIC has six shutout wins on the season, which includes the last four matches.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will resume Little East play at Southern Maine on Saturday, Sept. 21 (1 p.m.).
