Peter Pond (Providence, R.I.) won at No. 3 doubles as No. 2 Rhode Island College fell, 5-1, at No. 1 Bridgewater State in the finals of the 2024 Little East Men's Tennis Championship played at the Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Each of the three doubles contests went to tiebreakers, with Pond and Gouin winning, 8-7 (7-5), as RIC went into singles action down by one, 2-1.
• The Bears won at No. 4, 2 and 5 singles to clinch the championship.
• RIC was making its third Little East Championship Finals appearance in the past four seasons.
• The Bears handed the Anchormen two of their three setbacks on the season.
