Sairaj Srinivasan (Cedar Grove, N.J.) each won their first collegiate singles matches as Rhode Island College edged UMass Boston, 5-4, in Little East action played at the RIC Tennis Center on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen were down two starters due to injury and coming off a 7-2 setback vs. Bridgewater State in league play.
• RIC took two of three in doubles play as juniors
Noah Morin (Smithfield, Mass.) and
Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) won, 8-3, at second doubles.
• Freshman
Hajji Glover (Boston, Mass.) paired with Pond to pick up his first collegiate doubles win, 8-2, at third doubles.
• Srinivasan and Pond gave the Anchormen a 4-2 lead and Gouin closed it out with a straight set (6-0, 6-0) shutout win at No. 3 singles.
