HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen powered out to a 5-0 lead early in the first set, but the Vikings responded to take the frame, 25-21.

• In the second set, the Anchorwomen found themselves trailing, 8-3, but were able to mount a comeback and win in overtime, 27-25, thanks to sophomore middle blocker
Sydnee Pires (Rochester, Mass.), who knocked down five kills and recorded a block in the set.

• The third set was evenly matched until the Anchorwomen went on a 9-0 run to win by 11, 25-14.

• The Anchorwomen continued the offensive dominance in the fourth set, winning by double digits once again, 25-13, to secure the win.

Yuleisy Alvelo (Springfield, Mass.) recorded 28 assists.
