Boston, Mass.—Rhode Island College dropped the second game of a Little East softball doubleheader, 4-1, in the regular season finale for both clubs on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UMB jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first two innings.

Gabby Cunha (Cranston, R.I.) was able to settle down and keep the Beacons scoreless for the remainder of the game.
• The Anchorwomen finally got on the board in the fourth inning when senior catcher

• The Anchorwomen will move on to the 2023 Little East Championship, the program's first appearance in the league's postseason tournament since 2014.
• With 18 wins on the season, the Anchorwomen have won the most games in a season since the 2019 campaign (17 wins).
