Providence, R.I.—Freshman left fielder Sophia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) went 2-for-3 as Rhode Island College dropped the second game of a Little East doubleheader vs. Plymouth State, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Dayna A. Bazar Softball Complex.

• The game remained scoreless until the top of the sixth when PSU graduate second baseman Lauren Archambault (Rehoboth, Mass.) knocked in a pair with a single.
 
• The hosts got one run back in the home half of the inning on a junior first baseman Katelyn Ashe (Colchester, Conn.) RBI ground out.
 
•  PSU freshman starter Emily Antrim (Limerick, Maine) held on for her third win (3-2), going the distance and striking out five.
 
• RIC freshman starter Sam Bergantino (Coventry, R.I.) took the loss (1-5) with a seven-strikeout performance.
