Birmingham, Ala.--Junior Steven Doss (West Warwick, R.I.) and junior Michelson Salomon (Providence, R.I.) each competed at the 2023 NCAA Div. III Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship held at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Friday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Doss finished 16^th in the 400m (48.71). He wraps up the season that saw him earn Little East Men's Track Athlete of the Year and Rookie Track Athlete of the Year honors. Doss won four events to earn First Team All-Little East honors at the Little East Championship.
 
• Salomon finished 17^th (17.31m) in the weight throw. He earned All-New England and All-Little East honors in that event during the regular season.
 
• The top eight performers in each event advanced to the finals at the NCAA Championship.
