Boston, Mass.—Junior Michelson Salomon (Providence, R.I.) earned All-New England honors with a fourth place finish in the weight throw at the 2023 New England Div. III Championship, held at The Track at New Balance on Friday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchormen are currently tied for 12^th overall with a team score of 5.0 among a field of 19 teams that scored on Friday. MIT is currently in first place with a team score of 32.0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Salomon placed fourth (17.04m) in the weight throw to earn All-New England honors in that event for the second consecutive season.
 
• Freshman Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.) placed 13^th in the weight throw (15.18m).
 
• Freshman Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) placed 15^th in the weight throw (14.95m).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will continue competition at the N.E. Div. III Championship on Saturday, Feb. 25.
