Steven Doss (West Warwick, R.I.) won four events to lead Rhode Island College to a fifth place finish at the 2023 Little East Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS
• The Anchormen placed fifth (eight teams) with a team score of 89.0. UMass Dartmouth won the championship with a team score of 118.0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Doss was the Little East Champion and earned First Team All-Little East honors with first place finishes in the 60m (7.09), 200m (21.99), 400m (49.32) and the 4x200m relay (1:33.58).
His times in the 200m and 400m are new records in those events for the Little East Championship. Doss also tied the RIC program record with a 6.98 in the preliminaries of the 60m.

Mahari Nayte (Providence, R.I.) earned First Team All-Little East honors with first place finishes in the 600m (1:23.61) and the 4x200m relay (1:33.58). He was Second Team All-Little East with a second place finish in the 1,000m (2:32.80). Nayte finished third in the 4x800m relay (8:40.60) and seventh in the 4x400m relay (3:45.70).

Isiah Briggs (Providence, R.I.) earned First Team All-Little East honors with a first place finish in the 4x200m relay (1:33.58). He also finished seventh in the 4x400m relay (3:45.70).

Juan Reyes (Providence, R.I.) earned First Team All-Little East honors with a first place finish in the 4x200m relay (1:33.58). He also placed seventh in the 4x400m (3:45.70) and eighth in the 600m (1:30.01).

Ryan Hazard (Wakefield, R.I.) earned Second Team All-Little East honors in the shot with a second place finish (14.71m). He also placed seventh in the weight throw (14.24m).

Austin Michael (Swansea, Mass.) finished third in the 4x800m relay (8:40.60) and fourth in the 800m (2:03.46).
