Nardolillo Leads Anchorwomen Past UMass Boston, 75-30

Providence, R.I.--Sophomore forward Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) scored a game-high 13 points as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team got back to their winning ways in a 75-30 victory over UMass Boston in Little East action played at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC stormed out and took a large advantage through the first quarter, ending the first 10 minutes up by 14, 19-5.
 
• The Anchorwomen gained a massive lead in the second quarter and kept it throughout the game. RIC finished the game up with a 45-point advantage and held the lead for 92 percent of the contest. The RIC bench outproduced the entire Beacons team, 32-30.
 
• Nardolillo ended with 13 points, seven rebounds and a pair of rejections.
 
• Senior guard Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.) had 11 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
 
• UMB was led by junior forward Alexah Potter (Manchester, Conn.) and senior guard Keriann Farina (Arlington, Mass.), who both registered a team-high seven points. Graduate guard Meg Dixon (Hanover, Mass.), who came into play today averaging over 17 ppg, had only four points

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will continue Little East action at home vs. UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday, Feb. 15 (5:30 p.m.).
