HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen, who had won two of three in doubles action during the two club's regular season meeting, fell behind, 3-0, as the Beacons took all three in pairs action.

• The Beacons secured their second straight Little East tourney crown with victories at No. 2 and 6 singles. Junior
Amara Devine (Greenville, R.I.) was tied one-set apiece at No. 4 singles at the conclusion of the match.

• It was the eighth consecutive season (and nine of the last 10) that the Anchorwomen have reached the Little East Championship Finals. RIC has faced UMass Boston in the LEC Championship final in each of the past two seasons.
