HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Bucs were able to go on an 8-1 run late in the first set, due much in part to freshman defensive specialist
Ashleigh Catlett (Prince Frederick, MD) with a trio of kills, to help lead Mass. Maritime to a 25-18 win in the stanza.

• The Anchorwomen went on a 9-0 run in a dominant second set as they held the Bucs to just nine points in a 25-9 win to tie the match, 1-1.

• The offense did not slow down for RIC in the third as five kills by freshman outside hitter
Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) elevated the Anchorwomen to another 25-9 victory and a 2-1 lead.

• The Anchorwomen were able to finish the job in the fourth frame when freshman right side hitter
Talia Lewis (Sacramento, Calif.) recorded the final two kills to take the set, 25-13, and seal the victory.
