Providence, R.I.--Freshman Li hsiu Hou (Kingston, R.I.) paired with senior Serena Bobola (Cranston, R.I.) to earn her first collegiate doubles win as the Rhode Island College women's tennis team defeated Castleton, 9-0, in Little East action played at the RIC Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hou, who is a 55-year old rookie, and Bobola downed their Spartan counterparts, 8-0, to wrap up a 3-0 day in doubles action for the Anchorwomen.
 
• The hosts wrapped up the match on senior Jenna Lisi's (Cranston, R.I.) straight set (6-1, 6-0) victory at No. 1 singles.
 
• Freshman Erica Botelho (Greenville, R.I.) had another perfect day, winning at No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-0) and pairing with Lisi for an, 8-1, victory at No. 1 doubles.
