• Saint Joseph took two of three in doubles to build a 2-1 advantage heading into singles play.

• The hosts and visitors would go back and forth in singles action, with Gouin tying the score, 3-3, with a straight set victory at No. 4 singles (6-4, 6-3).

• The Blue Jays would run the table in the remaining singles contests as freshman
Gabriel Guerrette (East Hartford, Conn.) clinched the match with a No. 6 singles win (6-4, 2-6, 10-6).
